Legacy has been engaged to work closely with the Indigenous Tourism Alberta (ITA) team to complete an Indigenous Cultural Center Feasibility Study. The study will define the value, challenges and opportunities in developing an Indigenous led cultural center through consultation, community engagement, and expertise from the Legacy team.
We will be working with ITA, the Indigenous tourism industry and the Indigenous communities to define the feasibility of the Indigenous Cultural Centre. The findings in this study will showcase how to integrate cultural awareness into relevant and effective communication sharing programs, creating a centre of excellence for Indigenous tourism development and using marketing industry and consumer communication channels to elevate the understanding of Indigenous peoples in Alberta.
