CURRENTLY UNDERWAY | Destination British Columbia has engaged the Legacy team for the fourth time to work with a local community. This project will have the team working with the Village of Clinton and engaging with their tourism leadership to develop a locally-driven Community Tourism Plan.
Destination BC has engaged the Legacy Team to work with Tourism Vancouver Island to review the North Island Destination Development plan accomplishments and engage with the local advisory committee to review and revise the North Island Action Plan. This important work will update the plan and create a prioritized action plan with clear responsibilities and deliverables for the Mount Waddington Regional District area of Vancouver Island.
Following the North Island project, Destination BC engaged our team to work with Tourism Vancouver Island to review the Cowichan Destination Development plan accomplishments and engage with the local stakeholders to review and revise the associated Cowichan Action Plan.
In January 2023, Destination BC further engaged the Legacy Tourism Group to work with 4VI. Working with local stakeholders, our team will review the Campbell River and Comox Destination Development Plan accomplishments. Following this, we will update and revise plan components, including the SWOT analysis and action items.
