RC Strategies and Legacy Tourism Group strategically partnered on this Alberta project, involving Travel Alberta, Alberta Environment and Parks, and Alberta Jobs, Economy and Innovation. As the province shifted from pandemic recovery to prioritizing tourism growth and diversification, the teams worked to identify adjustments to existing approaches and develop a policy and planning framework.
Growing Alberta’s tourism industry is an economic development priority for the province. As Alberta shifts from managing through and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, the province is refocusing its attention on growing, diversifying and strengthening the provincial tourism economy.
The RC and Legacy Teams have identified potential adjustments to current approaches and has lead the development of a policy and planning “framework”. This creates an environment that will support increased investment in sustainable tourism development on Crown Lands.
