Jim DeHart was in attendance at the Aboriginal Tourism BC (AtBC) AGM on behalf of Legacy Tourism Group this week, staying in touch with our partners and friends involved in efforts to promote and encourage market-ready authentic aboriginal tourism products. On hand for all to appreciate were not only interesting and informative key-note speakers, but also authentic First Nation art pieces which are available for admiration and purchase at The Squamish Líl’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) in Whistler.
From one AGM to another, Mr. DeHart is presently chairing the AGM of the Wilderness Tourism Association of BC as the current president of the association. Both of these organizations do important work on behalf of the tourism operators in BC and we are glad to have Jim involved in this volunteer work.
